Last weekend I signed up for a Twitter account. I wanted to see what this was all about and I am liking it so far. Last Sunday I watching the really important tv on the E! Channel and had my Twitter feed up. That is how I first heard about Osama bin Laden's death. The social media sites were on fire with information before the news sources confirmed this news. This is a great example how social media sites play an important role in our society today.
