Gourmet Smores

Over Labor Day weekend my family and I went to Yellowstone National Park. One night we made smores over the campfire and we decided to kick it up a notch. My inspiration was a recent blog post I read about Summer Smores. Instead of the normal chocolate bar we used peanut butter cups and topped off the marshmellow with a slice of apple. They were so good. Below is a photo of this tasty treat. Next time I want to try with coconut marshmellows, chocolate with nuts and sliced bananas.
